Remember I AM (tset aka sx) and WE ARE the first to release a AUTOMATED
LOADER FIX for windows update!
Make sure you read the help section inside the program for some questions
and answers (on the main menu press 2) or if you need pictures press 0 a
t
the main menu.
I added another option inside the program to fix your installation date
to today's date, it works, but there is no real reason for it,
in the future, it may be used for other means; we will have to see...
If you run windows 2003 datacenter you really should purchase a prog
ram
called WfpAdmin Console Version by Collake Software, if you place
this into the directory containing the windows update fix it will auto
matically properly fix the wfp/sfc problem that happens in datacenter,
you dont really need this program as you can hit cancel on the msgbox
that appears and all will be fine (no further problems arise from doing
this), but i suggest this program as more of a convienience, and at $15
who can complain! (its a great administration tool!)

-> Un-archive compressed file. (Most likely already done) [unrar, unzip,
etc]
-> Move all files to a place where you want them to be stored. (pref: C:
\wufix)
-> Run "w2k3wuv5.exe" in the directory where you installed
it in.
-> IF WINDOWS ASKS YOU IF YOU WANT TO REBOOT OR TELLS YOU THAT YOU HAVE
TO
THEN PRESS CANCEL AND/OR CLOSE DOWN THE INTERNET EXPLORER WINDOW AND
WAIT AT LEAST 10 SECONDS FOR THE MACHINE TO UNPATCH ITSELF, THEN
REBOOT!!!!

Choose ANY help option in the program to make sure you understand everything

-First time running the program:
When you are done reading all the crap you can choose option #9 at the
main menu and it will do the windows update fix for you and auto load
Internet Explorer with the website for windows update, once you are don
e
downloading updates and specifically told windows update that you don't
want to restart your machine (hit cancel) and closed the browser window
my program will auto close itself for your convenience, please refer to
the next section "second time running the program" for info on
shortcuts.
-Second time running the program:
Well if you had previously ran this program and used the windows update
fix, you will already have two short cuts (or you should have) on your
start menu and also on your desktop, they are called
"Windows Update Fixed V5", if you use these short cuts everythi
ng will
be done automatically and you don't even have to remember where you inst
alled
this fix into. (Unless you moved it, then you have to figure that out f
or
yourself)
Note: there is a possibility of a future update/release BUT
I doubt it, if this fix gets fixed then well have
to re-fix it, or at least I will try :)
